The work of the NPRP is based on the most recent joint policy statement on pediatric emergency care. The current statement, "Pediatric Readiness in the Emergency Department," was written in 2018 and jointly published by the American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Emergency Physicians, and Emergency Nurses Association.
